Learning Observed

I completed the JOST Assessment (Junior Oral Language Screening Tool) with Austin.  It was great that he knew the names of three zoo animals.  He could also tell me the functions of some body parts but was unable to name them in English, I wonder if he can name them in Chinese? Austin enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the picture  and was very animated while he told me all about what was happening in the picture.

Key Competencies/Vision Principles

Austin is developing his Capabilities (Using Language Symbols and Texts)  in English he is usually able to respond when asked questions (Thinking). Austin enjoys sharing verbally what he is doing and is Curious about the way the world works.
